Before I found... read more Josh here at Jackson automotive I talked to 4 separate shops who all said that it was too old of a Subaru and they aren't familiar with getting it done properly. Immediately when I asked Josh he knew what car I had, he was familiar with the engine & he told me what else would be good to get done while the motor is out of the car in a way that made sense and didn't feel like he was being pushy at all for anything. If I wanted to do the bare minimum he was cool with that, if I wanted to go all out and get all the maintenance taken care of he was cool with that as well. Josh is super hard working, extremely knowledgeable on Subarus, very fairly priced, and super friendly. Went in for just a headgasket and ended up getting my engine completely re-sealed with a new clutch, new oil pump and a fresh timing kit and water pump. Extremely happy camper. I can't wait till my break in miles are over to let it sing!
